What technical indicators does TradingView provide?

  • Relative Strength Index (RSI)

The RSI indicator measures a trend’s momentum. A reading above 70 may indicate an overbought condition and a potential pullback, while a reading below 30 may indicate an oversold condition and a possible rebound.

You can view the RSI indicator by clicking on "Indicators" at the top of the chart, then selecting "Relative Strength Index."

  • Pitchfork

Andrews’Pitchfork is used to identify trend channels and support and resistance levels.

You can draw a pitchfork and identify trend channels by selecting three consecutive points. For bullish trends, these are:

- a pivot low

- the reaction high immediately following the first point

- the reaction low immediately following the second point.

These points are used to create upper and lower trendlines. The upper line indicates theresistance level and the lower line indicates the support level.

If the price moves outside of the pitchfork (i.e., a breakout above the resistance level or a breakdown below the support level), this may signal a trend reversal.

You can access this tool by clicking on the pitchfork icon at the left of the chart, then selecting “Pitchfork.”

  • Moving average convergence/divergence (MACD)

The MACD indicator is used to identify trend reversals. It is composed of:

-theMACD line (shown below in blue)

-the.signal line (shown below in orange).

If the MACD line crosses above the signal line, this can be interpreted as a buy signal. If the MACDline crosses below the signal line, this can be interpreted as a sell signal.

You can view the. MACD by clicking on the “Indicators” tab at the top of the chart.
