How do I grant a power of attorney on my account?

Updated on 12 August 2021

You can grant a power of attorney on your account by filling out the form below.

-Link to the form.

If the person being granted power of attorney is not a BCV customer, they must provide proof of identity. To do this, they can visit a BCV branch or submit a certified true copy* of their ID – in both cases they will need to provide proof of address (e.g., water, electricity, or telephone bill) dated within the past six months. They will also have to sign a tax identification form.

*You can obtain a certified true copy of your ID by taking it to any Swiss cantonal bank (free service), a Swiss post office (paid service), or a Swiss railway station (paid service).
